This theme is an invitation to stay grounded, get close to the earth. We don't want to use our time and energy looking up to the heavens asking, "Why? How long, O Lord?"

We want to stay eye-level with neighbors, we want to get in the soil and look down at all of creation and its roots.

Many people look to the skies for salvation, to know if

God is real. We say: don't look up.

Look around. Look down at the ground, in the soil. Look into

the eyes of a neighbor. This season, let us stay focused on the connection to creation to experience the presence of God.
